Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
1. General Provisions
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) governs the use of all products and services provided by LLHOST. It is designed to protect the interests of Clients, the infrastructure, and the reputation of LLHOST, as well as to ensure compliance with applicable laws.
By using LLHOST services, the Client agrees to comply with this Policy. Violations of the AUP may result in restriction, suspension, or termination of services, temporary or permanent access blocks, data deletion, refusal of service, or other measures. Decisions regarding refunds in such cases are made in accordance with the Terms and Refund Policy.
2. Prohibited Actions and Content
2.1. Spam
- Mass or unsolicited email, SMS, messenger, or social network message distribution.
- Operating mail servers without proper SPF, DKIM, and PTR configuration.
- Forging email headers, sender addresses, or using open relays and similar techniques.
2.2. Malicious Activity
- Distribution, use, or hosting of viruses, trojans, rootkits, spyware, exploits, phishing pages, ransomware, etc.
- Running botnets, command-and-control (C&C) servers, or relaying malicious traffic.
- Using or hosting tools such as Cobalt Strike, Metasploit, or similar unless explicitly pre-approved via a support ticket and confirmed in writing.
2.3. Unauthorized Access and Attacks
- Attempts to gain unauthorized access, hacking, brute force, port scanning, or password cracking.
- Launching DDoS attacks or conducting any attack tests without prior approval from LLHOST.
2.4. Illegal, Offensive, or Unacceptable Content
- Child pornography (including fictional depictions), violence, human rights violations.
- Hate speech, racism, extremism, or terrorism propaganda.
- Hosting pirated software, illegal videos, music, or other copyright-infringing materials.
- Sale of counterfeit goods (e.g., branded copies), information related to drugs, weapons, or forged documents.
- Distribution of sexually explicit deepfakes or materials that violate privacy or dignity.
2.5. Fraudulent Use
- Phishing, spoofing, scams, document forgery.
- Hosting clone sites of banks, payment systems, email services, or other sensitive platforms.
2.6. Proxies and VPN Use Without Authorization (if restricted by plan)
- Running public VPN services, proxy services, or TOR nodes without prior approval if restricted by the plan.
- Using LLHOST VPS to proxy or protect third-party services (e.g., DDoS protection for services not hosted with LLHOST) is strictly prohibited.
3. Client Conduct
- Avoid using LLHOST services for purposes that violate Estonian or international law.
- Secure their systems and hosted services.
- Respond promptly to support tickets, especially in the case of incidents, complaints, or abuse reports.
LLHOST reserves the right to:
- Restrict or suspend services without prior notice in the event of a serious AUP violation or security/reputation threat.
- Issue warnings via ticket and allow up to 48 hours to remedy issues where immediate action is not required.
- Act without notice in critical cases (e.g., law enforcement requests or immediate risks).
- Request identity verification (KYC) if repeated or serious violations are suspected.
4. Network and Infrastructure Protection
- Use of LLHOST services for cryptocurrency mining is strictly prohibited, regardless of plan. This includes CPU, GPU, and HDD/SSD mining or similar activities that create excessive load.
- Hosting CDN, streaming platforms, downloaders, proxies, and other high-load applications is permitted only if:
- It is allowed by the service plan,
- It does not violate any other AUP provisions (e.g., proxy/VPN restrictions, malicious activity),
- It does not place undue load on LLHOST infrastructure.
LLHOST reserves the right to limit or suspend such services if abuse or risk to infrastructure stability is detected. If LLHOST has reasonable doubts about proper usage, service may be paused until clarification is received from the Client.
5. Enforcement and Updates
LLHOST may update or change this Policy at any time without prior notice. Changes take effect upon publication at: https://llhost.eu/acceptable-use-policy
Clients are responsible for reviewing the latest version and complying with it.
Failure to stay informed about updates does not relieve the Client of responsibility. In case of uncertainty, the Client should request clarification from support before initiating or continuing service use.
LLHOST reserves the right to log and monitor system activity if required by law or for the purpose of security, legal compliance, or incident investigation.
