DNS Hosting: What’s Changing in March

In March, we’re rolling out DNS hosting improvements in phases. Updates will be introduced gradually throughout the month to keep changes controlled and smooth for customers.

The free DNS hosting plan is available only when you register a domain with us, and you select our DNS servers (nameservers) during domain registration.

What’s coming

1. New DNS plans (starting from €1)We’re introducing new plan options so DNS can be used as a standalone service depending on your project needs.
2. DNS infrastructure improvementsWe’re upgrading the service to make DNS more stable and predictable under load and during local disruptions.
3. Gradual move toward AnycastWe’re starting a phased transition toward Anycast. In simple terms: DNS will become more resilient and, as the rollout progresses, respond “closer” to users across different regions.
4. API is comingThe API will enable DNS automation: integrations and DNS record management via API (create and update records) for practical workflows.

Will the free DNS plan (bundled with domain registration) get these updates too?

Yes. The free DNS plan included with domain registration will receive all updates as well: infrastructure improvements, benefits of the Anycast transition (as it rolls out), and new platform capabilities as they are released.
