LLHOST Infrastructure Update: Estonia, Cluster Expansion, and Upcoming Anycast DNS

November 18, 2025
2 min read

Introduction

Infrastructure rarely grows linearly. Sometimes capacity aligns with demand, and sometimes demand accelerates faster than expected. Over the last few weeks, Estonia has become our most active region — both in terms of new VPS deployments and customer migrations.

In this update, we outline the current status of our infrastructure, the improvements underway, and the next steps we are preparing. We also describe our approach to clients who manage 5+ VPS with other providers and are considering migration.

Estonia: Stable Operation and Higher-Than-Expected Demand

Steady growth across multiple plans

Estonia remains one of LLHOST’s key locations, and the recent increase in demand has been consistent across several VPS configurations. This is a positive trend, but it requires careful scaling to maintain service quality.

Why some configurations are temporarily limited

As in the Netherlands, we temporarily limit availability of certain plans to avoid overselling. This ensures:

  • guaranteed resources
  • predictable load per node
  • stable long-term performance
  • fair and transparent allocation

This is a technical measure designed to maintain a high standard of service.

Cluster expansion in progress

New hardware has already been ordered. As each batch arrives, we expand the cluster and gradually add available VPS configurations in Estonia.

This approach provides:

  • even load distribution
  • additional capacity without performance impact
  • controlled, predictable scaling
  • zero overselling

New configurations will appear in the billing system as soon as they are deployed.

What’s Coming Next

Launch of dedicated servers

We are preparing to introduce a dedicated server rental service.

The initial offering will include:

  • powerful and reliable hardware
  • a small set of balanced configurations, extendable through add-ons
  • a 1 Gbps uplink with the option to upgrade
  • optional dual PSU
  • full compatibility with LLHOST support levels and SLA tiers

This product will complement our VPS platform and provide an option for projects requiring dedicated hardware and consistent performance.

Migration to LLHOST Anycast DNS

One of the major upgrades in progress is the deployment of our own Anycast DNS network.

Benefits of Anycast DNS

  • lower latency due to nearest-node resolution
  • routing redundancy and improved resilience
  • stronger protection against DDoS attacks
  • consistent performance across global regions
  • faster and more stable DNS responses

What customers should expect

  • domains registered with LLHOST will receive Anycast DNS at no additional cost
  • standalone free DNS plans will not be offered, but paid plans will be competitively priced

Several Anycast locations are already being deployed, with more to follow.

Operating 5 or More VPS With Another Provider?

If you manage five or more VPS with another hosting provider and are considering migration, we can offer better permanent pricing — not tied to promotions or temporary discounts.

We understand that migration requires planning, testing, and coordination, which is why such requests receive individual attention.

To receive a tailored proposal, contact [email protected] and include:

  • how many VPS you use and with which providers
  • which services they run
  • configurations and operating systems

We will review the setup and prepare an offer suited to your infrastructure.

Promo Code for Estonia VPS

A long-term discount for new VPS deployments in Estonia:

- Promo code: VLJ6U3LUE8B8

- Discount: 20% permanent

- Applies to: all Estonia VPS

- Billing: all billing cycles (monthly billing only)

- Valid until: 23/11/2025

Conclusion

Estonia continues to grow as one of LLHOST’s most active regions. We are expanding the cluster, preparing a dedicated server offering, and deploying our own Anycast DNS network — all of which will improve scalability, performance, and long-term stability.
